The Green & Gold Congressional Aide program and the Veterans History Project (VHP) at the Library of Congress have a long-standing relationship with the goal of helping collect and preserve stories of U.S. military veterans. Green & Gold Aides are introduced to the project during their week-long orientation, where they receive an overview of VHP and introduction on how to conduct interviews.
Our team and our Green & Gold Aides are committed to the VHP mission through outreach, events, and interviews in their district offices, and are always looking for ways to preserve veteran stories for our generations to come.
